On Mobile

  1. Enter the official BitHermes website.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click the hamburger menu from the top right corner of the page and choose “Futures”.
  4. Find your desired coin from the list on top of the page and click on it.
  5. At the bottom of the page, choose open Long or open short.
  6. Transfer your assets from spot account to futures account by tapping the blue icon above the price section.
  7. Select the type of order you are working with. You can choose between limit order, market order and stop order.
  8. Choose cross mode or isolated mode for your futures contract.

Note: in cross mode all positions use the whole cross account balance to avoid being liquidated. If liquidation happens, cross positions and cross balance will be lost. In isolated mode some balance is allocated to the isolated account. When isolated balance is below maintenance margin, the isolated positions will be liquidated. In this mode margin balance can be increased or decreased.

  1. Enter your leverage level you want to use in your position.
  2. Enter your long or short price in the first box in the open section.
  3. Enter the amount you want to long or short. You can also use the percentages to do this.

Note: Your total balance of that coin is shown in the “Total” section.

  1. If you are familiar with advanced options choose between P/O, IOC and FOK.

Note: in P/O model order will post only. IOC means order will be immediately filled or cancelled. If you choose the FOK model, the order will be filled completely or killed.

  1. Click TP/SL to enter your target level and stop loss level.
  2. Click “open Long” or “open short”, depending on your decision.
