How to Margin trade on BitHermes

On Mobile

1. Enter the official BitHermes website.
2. Log in to your account. 
3. tap the hamburger menu from the top right corner of the page and choose “Margin”.
4. Find your desired coin from the list and click on it.
5. At the bottom of the page choose buy or sell
6. Under the selecting amount box tap blue icon to transfer assets to your margin account
7. Go to the borrow section to borrow assets. The maximum borrow amount is determined by your collateral and individual borrow limit for the specific coin.
8. Tap ‘’Buy” or “Sell”, depending on your decision 
9. Select the type of order you are working with. You can choose between limit order, market order and stop order.
10. Tap normal and enter your buy or sell price in the first box.
11. Enter the amount you want to buy or sell. You can also use the percentages to do this.

Note: Your total balance of that coin is shown in the “Total” section.

1. Tap the Buy or Sell button 
2. Your order is added to the order book. Please wait for its finalization.
3. Once you close the buy/sell window, you can see your open orders at the bottom of the page. Order history is also available there.
4. Finally, tap on repay section which was next to the borrow section and repay your debts manually.

On Desktop

1. Enter the official BitHermes website.
2. Log in to your account. 
3. Hover your mouse on “Trade” in the top left corner of the page and choose “Margin”.
4. Choose the Margin’s trading pairs from the list on the right side of the page. 
5. Scroll down to under the price chart in the “isolated” section.
6. Click Transfer, to transfer assets into your Margin account.
7. After that, click borrow, you can borrow assets here. The maximum borrow amount is determined by your collateral and individual borrow limit for the specific coin.
8. If you want to buy the chosen coin, use the left side of this section. If you plan on selling, use the right side.
9. Select the type of order you are working with. You can choose between limit order, market order and stop order.
10. Enter your buy or sell price in the “Price” section.
11. Enter the amount you want to buy or sell. You can also use the slider to do this.

Note: Your total balance of that coin is shown in the “Total” section.

1. Click “Buy” or “Sell”, depending on your decision.

4. Finally, click Repay, to repay your debts manually
